What to write about oneself …
Most stories surely start with the beginning: My Name is Fritzi-Henrike Ernestine Fechner. I was born on August 21st, 1998 in Frankfurt (Oder). (Since there are always some funny confusions inside and outside of Germany: That’s the town without skyscrapers, near Poland.)

To get straight to the point: I have always loved drawing and creating stories and started writing poems when I was ten years old. (Let’s not count the elevenies we had to write in third grade. Squeezing poetry into eleven strictly arranged words has never fully opened up to me.)

At grammar school my stories quickly got the reputation of being somewhat brutal and dark. Well, one cannot conceal a morbid touch in my works. But what do you expect when the curriculum includes Romeo and Juliet and The Sorrows of Young Werther? Besides, I’ve always had my nose in Grimm’s fairy tales. In these they quickly lose their heads or a few fingers.
In May 2022 most of my poems made it between two book covers. In August a little short novel followed. And since I have got a notebook full of new ideas these books will not be the last.
While I definitely prefer pencils, acrylics and watercolours when it comes to art I also make generous use of charcoal, ink, spray paint and cutting tools (either for lino print or to massacre canvases).
I have been fortunate to be able to graduate school with an advanced art course which projects and creative participants have shaped my current style too.
In December 2021 I took part in my first exhibition: SACRIFICE by M.A.D.S. Art Gallery

Well, I am quite sure this is not the end of the story. Let’s see where the plot will go…

To the fallen literature comrades!
